The upcoming ANITI scientific seminar will be held on January 14th, online, starting at 3 pm

Elsa Cazelles, a CNRS researcher at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT), will talk about a novel notion of barycenter for probability distributions based on optimal weak mass transport.

Elsa Cazelles received the Ph.D. degrees in applied mathematics from the University of Bordeaux in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Mathematical Modelling within the University of Chile. Since 2020, Elsa is a CNRS researcher in the Signal & Communications Group at IRIT, working on optimal transport for statistics.
Depuis 2020, Elsa est chercheuse CNRS au sein du Groupe Signal & Communications de l’IRIT, travaillant sur le transport optimal pour les statistiques.
