The 3IA, which is currently building a new training, research and innovation project, aims to position itself as a world-class IA cluster. Romaric Redon joined the team at the beginning of September to shape ANITI's future alongside the operational and scientific directors, Nicolas Viallet and Serge Gratton. Nicolas Viallet et Serge GrattonIf the IA Cluster call is successful, Romaric Redon will succeed Nicolas Viallet in January 2024.

Romaric Redon has been working in the field of artificial intelligence for 24 years. He started out as a software engineer in an AI start-up, then joined the AIRBUS group where he held various positions always associated with AI, including industrial research engineer, head of the artificial intelligence research team, head of the DataLab atAIRBUS Defence and Space and responsible for the AIRBUS group's AI technology roadmap.

In addition to his technical skills in AI, he also brings his ability to federate a large community around a shared vision. This experience will be at the heart of his commitment to ANITI, to mobilize an even larger community with all the academic and industrial players on the Toulouse site, and to create a world-class AI Cluster for the development of high-performance, trusted AI that meets the needs of the site's various sectors of excellence and, more broadly, of the society as a whole.
